Kentucky’s defense put on a show in the first half vs. Tennessee to give the Wildcats an advantage on the scoreboard.

The Wildcat defense forced six turnovers last week vs. Mississippi State, all via interception. In the first half Saturday vs. the Volunteers, Kentucky’s defense forced four takeaways, including two interception returns for touchdowns.

Kelvin Joseph was the first Wildcat to intercept a Jarret Guarantano pass for a score. On the next drive, Jamin Davis followed with an interception return of his own.

Kentucky leads Tennessee at the half, 17-7.
