Kentucky Drops to 4-8 with Loss at Auburn

There’s no other way to put it. This is a disastrous season for the Kentucky men’s basketball team and it’s hard to watch.

Kentucky is now 4-8 (3-2) on the season after Auburn topped the Wildcats 66-59 Saturday afternoon.

Despite shooting 38 percent from the field, Auburn found a way to win the game. Kentucky’s three-game winning streak and performance vs. Florida is an afterthought after the last two games.

With 14 games remaining in the season, it’s hard to imagine this team making the NCAA Tournament without winning the SEC Tournament.
