The Kentucky Wildcats split their two matchups in the SEC last week but the way they bounced back on Saturday has to have Big Blue Nation feeling better moving forward.

Kentucky opened the week with a loss at the buzzer on the road at South Carolina. Three days later the Cats left Arkansas with a 73-66 win vs. the Razorbacks and did so without John Calipari the final 8 minutes of the game after the UK coach was ejected.

Today, the updated Associated Press Poll was released. Kentucky checks in at No. 15, five spots down from last week.

The Wildcats are the highest ranked team in the SEC after Auburn had back-to-back bad performances on the road at Alabama and Florida. The Tigers dropped from No. 4 to No. 16.
