There was no letdown at Kroger Field Saturday night, as Mark Stoops’ Kentucky Wildcats delivered a loud statement to the SEC in a blowout win vs. LSU.

Kentucky improved to 6-0 on the season with a 42-21 victory, their best start since 1950 (10-0).

Kentucky quarterback Will Levis had his best game as a Wildcat, totaling five touchdowns to lead the UK offense. Levis completed 14-of-17 passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns while adding 75 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Kentucky punished the Tigers on the ground, led by Chris Rodriguez and Kavosiey Smoke, who both eclipsed 100-yards on the night.

Rodriguez totaled 147 yards rushing while surpassing 2,000 yards for his career, becoming the tenth player in school history to reach that milestone.

Meanwhile, Smoke had his first 100-yard rushing game of the season, finishing with 104 yards.

The win is the eighth straight for the Wildcats, dating back to the final two games of the 2020 season.
