After being ranked No. 20 in last week’s USA Today Amway Coaches Poll, the Kentucky Wildcats dropped out of the poll this week.

The new poll features schools from the Big Ten now that the conference has decided to play football with the season starting on October 24.

This week, the Wildcats sit at No. 26, one spot outside the top 25 rankings.

Auburn, Kentucky’s opponent for the season opener on Saturday, is ranked No. 8 so there’s an opportunity for the Wildcats to earn some respect.
