The Wildcats earned a No. 6 seed in the East Region, where they will open the NCAA Tournament vs. No. 11 Providence. The matchup will include Kentucky vs. former Wildcat Bryce Hopkins.
Kentucky will open the tournament in Greensboro, North Carolina. If they advance to the second weekend, they will be in New York.
The top four seeds in the region are No. 1 Purdue, No. 2 Marquette, No. 3 Kansas State, and No. 4 Tennessee.
