Kentucky extends offer to 4-star tackle from Alabama: Offer list includes Alabama and Auburn

Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats extended an offer to one of the nations best Offensive linemen for the 2019 class. Amari Kight (pictured right), a 6-7, 310lb tackle from Alabaster, AL, announced the offer via his Twitter account on Saturday.

Scout ranks Kight the 82nd best player in the 2019 class and the No. 2 tackle in the state of Alabama. Kight plays his high school football at Thompson High School.

The Wildcats face stiff competition to land the highly recruit, but Stoops and staff are not backing down from recruiting the nations best.

Along with Kentucky, Kight holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Memphis, and Mississippi State, while programs like Georgia, Florida State, and Tennessee have shown interest.

You have to love what the coaching staff is doing and the prospects they are targeting. Kentucky is on the rise in the SEC and the nation, but it starts with walking through the same doors as Nick Saban and nation’s best coaches. Stoops and his staff are doing just that.
