Kentucky Extends Scholarship Offer to Wisconsin Guard

John Calipari extended an offer to Brandin Podziemski Wednesday night, the three-star guard announced on social media.

Podziemski, a native of Delafield, Wisconsin, confirmed the news on Twitter with the following message.

“After a great Zoom call with Coach John Calipari and Coach Joel Justus, I am blessed to receive an offer from the University of Kentucky,” said Podziemski.

The 6-foot-6, 195-pound shooting guard holds offers from Arizona State, Boise State, DePaul, and Marquette. He averaged 27.3 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.7 steals, and 3.6 assists per game as a junior.

Podziemski attends St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy and plays for Phenom University – Team Herro on the Nike EYLB circuit, a Wisconsin based AAU program sponsored by former Kentucky Wildcat Tyler Herro.
