The Kentucky Wildcats picked up their third win of the 2020 season Saturday, a 38-35 victory vs. Vanderbilt at Kroger Field.

The win comes two days after the passing of Kentucky offensive line coach John Schlarman, who battled cancer since 2018.

Kentucky honored Schlarman with the JS decal on the back of their helmets Saturday. On the first play of the game, Kentucky intentionally left a spot open on the offensive line before Landon Young (wearing No. 65 in honor of Schlarman) sprinted onto the field.

Following the game, Schlarman’s group posed for a picture while leaving the field.
