Kentucky Picks Up Crystal Ball Predictions for Davion Mintz

It sounds like good news is on the way for the Kentucky Wildcats and John Calipari.

The Wildcats have picked up crystal ball predictions for Davion Mintz, a graduate transfer from Creighton University.

Mintz started 79 games for the Bluejays during his first three seasons with the program. Prior to his senior season in 2019-20, Mintz suffered a high ankle sprain. Instead of missing half the season and trying to work his way back, he chose to redshirt in December and retain a year of eligibility. He entered the transfer portal last week.

As a junior, Mintz averaged 9.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists while knocking down 43 three-pointers and swiping 40 steals.

The addition of Mintz would give Kentucky a senior guard on the roster for the first time since the 2016-17 season (Dominique Hawkins, Mychal Mulder).
