Would you believe me if I told you that Kentucky will begin the season ranked inside the top 5 of the AP poll? The Wildcats are positioned at No. 5 in the poll, trailing Duke, Michigan State, Arizona, and Kansas.
Kentucky will play six teams ranked inside the preseason AP top 25. The Wildcats and Jayhawks will face each other in the annual Champions Classic in Chicago on November 14th. In addition to Kansas, Kentucky will face No. 8 Florida, No. 11 West Virginia, No. 16 Louisville, No. 21 UCLA, and No. 25 Texas A&M.
Kentucky, Florida, and Texas A&M are the only SEC teams ranked in the preseason poll.
The Wildcats play one more exhibition game this Friday vs. Centre College before the season tips off at home vs. Utah Valley on Friday, November 10th.
