As it stands right now, Kentucky ranks 29th in the latest NET rankings, over a ten spot jump from last week. Yale was actually a quality win when it comes to the NET rankings, as they ranked ahead of Kentucky last week before they played. Yale fell to 47th after their loss to the Cats.

The SEC is represented well, with five teams within the top thirty, with three of those teams within the top six. Tennessee is ranked 4th, with a chance to crack the top three if they win Saturday against the 14th ranked Arizona Wildcats. As it stands, Kentucky will have tough sledding when it comes to conference play in a few weeks.

Kentucky will get another chance to improve their ranking, as they face the 13th NET ranked UCLA Bruins this weekend.
