Kentucky’s 2022-23 men’s basketball roster is slowly starting to take shape as transfer portal and professional basketball decisions will continue in the coming weeks.
Dontaie Allen was the first UK player to hit the portal, announcing his decision to transfer Thursday.
As for returning players, Travis Branham of 247Sports reported last weekend that Daimion Collins will return to Kentucky for his sophomore season.

We know one thing. John Calipari will once again make the transfer portal a key piece his roster construction for next season.
LSU guard Xavier Pinson entered the transfer portal Thursday. And according to David Sisk of Cats Illustrated, Kentucky is one of four schools to already reach out to the transfer guard, joining Arizona State, Michigan State, and Xavier.
Pinson spent the first three years of his career at Missouri before transferring to LSU last spring. He has started 76 games in his career, averaging 10.2 points and 3.2 assists per game.
Pinson averaged 18.5 points per game in two games vs. Kentucky this season.
Until official decisions are made, Kentucky’s 2022-23 backcourt includes Sahvir Wheeler, TyTy Washington, Shaedon Sharpe, C.J. Fredrick, and incoming five-star freshman, Cason Wallace.
Just a few hours after leaving LSU and entering the transfer portal, Xavier Pinson has heard from Kentucky, Michigan State, Xavier, and Arizona State. @KentuckyRivals
