The Kentucky women’s basketball team will be without two key pieces to start the season, including reigning SEC Player of the Year Rhyne Howard.
Interim head coach Kyra Elzy announced Wednesday that Tatyana Wyatt has been suspended three games for a violation of team rules.
Elzy also announced that Howard has been suspended two games for not upholding the standards of the program, according to the Kentucky women’s basketball Twitter account.
Kentucky gets the season started at 1 p.m. ET. today vs. Murray State.
