Kentucky continues to reach out to backcourt options in the NCAA transfer portal.
The most recent name you can add to the list is Mac McClung, a Texas Tech transfer. McClung is also testing the NBA Draft waters while holding onto the option to return to college next season.
McClung entered the transfer portal after Chris Beard left Texas Tech to become the head coach at Texas.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound guard averaged 15.5 points and 2.1 assists per game during his lone season with the Red Raiders. Before Texas Tech, McClung spent two seasons at Georgetown with Patrick Ewing.
