Man Dies in Tractor-trailer Accident on East Us 64, Lexington Authorities Report

LEXINGTON, N.C – At least one person died in a tractor-trailer accident on Tuesday, according to the Lexington Police Department.

At 10:30 p.m., police were called to the scene of a tractor-trailer accident on 29-70 South at East U.S. Hwy 64.

Charles Michael Wayne Grasty, 48, of Waynesville, was the driver of the tractor-trailer. He was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
