Man Finds Hidden Camera Outside His West Covina Home

A man in West Covina has expressed his disbelief after discovering a hidden camera in his front yard. He claims the discovery has left him feeling shaken up.

During the process of watering his plants on Friday night, George Nguyen discovered the camera, which was covered with mesh and fake grass. He discovered the camera after spotting a green blinking light near the bushes.

Hidden cameras, such as the one that Nguyen discovered, are used by burglars as a strategy to observe the behaviors of homes in order to choose the appropriate time to commit a burglary. There have been reports of cameras of a similar nature being discovered in Arcadia, Garden Grove, Alhambra, and even Santa Barbara.

According to Nguyen, he promptly contacted the authorities after discovering the concealed camera that was located outside of his residence on East Cortez Street. The surveillance camera of the homeowner filmed a person walking by his house on Thursday morning; however, the homeowner claims that cars were blocking the view of the person.

Never let your guard down. According to Nguyen, who is urging residents to remain vigilant, “Do not panic.” The best course of action is to maintain vigilance and to check your bushes on a regular basis. Maintain a constant presence of cameras in your home.

The homeowner has reported the device to the West Covina police department, which is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
