Man Killed, Woman Critically Injured After Motorcycle Collides With SUV in Sharon Township

MEDINA COUNTY, Ohio – A motorcyclist was murdered Thursday evening, and his companion was critically injured, after colliding with an SUV in Sharon Township.

According to Medina County Sheriff’s deputies, the accident occurred around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of SR 18 and State Road.

The motorcycle operator, Jacob King, 25, was pronounced dead on the spot.

His passenger, a 23-year-old lady, was sent to Akron General Hospital. Her name has not been released.

The SUV driver, a 41-year-old guy, was sent to Medina Hospital.

Deputies said the fatal crash is still under investigation, but drinking and narcotics are not suspected.
