It’s finally football time in the Bluegrass!
Kentucky kicks off the 2022 season at Kroger Field Saturday night vs. Miami (Ohio) at 7 p.m. ET. on the SEC Network+.
With a win, Mark Stoops will reach a significant milestone in his career as the head coach at Kentucky. A victory over the Redhawks would give Stoops 60 wins in his career at Kentucky, tying Paul “Bear” Bryant for the most in school history.
Ironically enough, Stoops’ first victory at Kentucky was a 41-7 win vs. Miami (Ohio) in September 2013.
A win would set the stage for Stoops to pass Bryant next week when the Wildcats travel to Florida.
