Kentucky punter Max Duffy won the Ray Guy Award earlier this week for best punter in college football during the 2019 season.

Duffy, the first Ray Guy Award winner in Kentucky football history, is the third Wildcat to win a national award the last two seasons (Josh Allen 2018, Lynn Bowden 2019).

Duffy took a moment to thank everyone that has supported him along his journey, including Kentucky football for taking a chance on him.

The UK punter still has a year of eligibility remaining at Kentucky. Duffy also had a message for Coach Dean Hood, who accepted the head coaching position at Murray State earlier this week.
