Mother Accidentally Runs Over Daughter, 12, While Parking in San Antonio, Authorities Say

SAN ANTONIO – According to police, a small girl was tragically crushed between an SUV and a retaining wall at a northwest-side apartment complex.

Around 11 p.m., San Antonio Police Department officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Parkdale Drive in response to collision reports.

According to police, a 12-year-old girl was critically injured after she became wedged between an SUV and a retaining wall after getting out of the vehicle while her mother was attempting to park.

According to investigators, the woman accelerated by accident and collided with her child, pinning her against the wall.

First responders took the girl to the hospital with critical injuries.

It is unknown if the mother is facing any charges.
