New Grocery Store Set to Open Where Old One Once Stood in South Alabama

An additional Aldi store is going to open in Mobile County in the near future as the retail giant continues to expand its operations.

According to the information, the most recent business will be situated in Semmes at 9082 Moffett Road.

The website indicates that the store will open in the near future; however, there is no precise date mentioned as of yet.

The Semmes location is one of the 47 Aldi stores that are currently operating in the state of Alabama now. The establishment will represent five store locations inside Mobile County once it opens.

As a result of the German company’s acquisition of over 400 Winn Dixie and Harveys Supermarkets in the southeast region in the previous year, the Aldi store in Semmes is a rebranding of a previous Winn Dixie store.
