NJ Town Rated for Having the Worst Grocery Store in the U.S. for Food Quality

Please don’t eat while reading this. Also, I hope you’re not eating food from a certain grocery store in a certain city in the Garden State.

Don’t shoot the messenger now. This is not true, I say. Just saying that a study was done that used key phrases to look at Google reviews of thousands of grocery stores across the country and find out which places have the worst food.

Already I feel a little queasy thinking about words like “flies,” “rotting,” “maggots,” “oozing,” and why not? I’m going to stop now.

Any way you look at it, this study was done by Solitaired.com and looked at 7 million reviews of shops in 100 cities.

Not the best grocery shops in New Jersey

The study didn’t just look at one place in New Jersey that had bad food. Our study found that the food in one place in New Jersey was the worst in the whole country.

To be honest, I have no idea if this is true anyway. It’s possible that people in New Jersey are just tougher critics because we expect better quality? Could everyone in Jersey City have the name Karen?

I’m not a food princess, listen up. I’ve eaten bagels that were left over from the morning show at the station where I work that were 12 hours old.

What’s all the fuss about? The next time I’m in Jersey City, I might stop by and get a few things. It should be fine, even if Karen behind me in line complains.
