The Kentucky Wildcats closed the regular season with an 88-79 win at Arkansas Saturday afternoon.

The Wildcats were without point guards Cason Wallace and Sahvir Wheeler, who are both recovering from injuries. Kentucky also played the final five minutes of the game without Oscar Tshiebwe, who picked up his fifth foul.

No point guard? No problem for the Cats.

Antonio Reeves stepped up in a big way, scoring a career-high 37 points in the win for Kentucky. The senior guard connected on 12-of-17 shots, including 2-of-4 from three and a perfect 11-of-11 at the free throw line.

Senior forward Oscar Tshiebwe recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds before fouling out. All 12 of Tshiewe’s points came in the first half.

In addition to Reeves’ big effort, senior forward Jacob Toppin also carried a larger load in the win. Toppin scored 21 points in 38 minutes to help pace Kentucky.

With the win, Kentucky secured the No. 3 seed in the SEC Tournament.
