According to CHP Fatal, a fatal crash involving many vehicles occurred on southbound US 101 near the South California Street on-ramp on Sunday afternoon, April 6, 2025.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the accident occurred at 2:48 PM and involved a grey BMW, a white Tesla Model 3, and a motorcycle.
According to initial reports, the incident caused all lanes to become closed. The motorbike rider had died as a result of his injuries, according to emergency personnel.
The white Tesla was also substantially involved, and authorities verified that the driver had been hurt but did not specify the extent of the injuries.
