Nominees for an Oregon Ducks All-Quarter-Century football team comprised of players from 2000 to 2024 have been produced by The Oregonian/OregonLive. In August, the final teams will be chosen.

TACKLES

Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu

2019–2022.

Accolades and accomplishments: In 2020 and 2022, he was named an honorable mention All-Pac-12. In the ninth week of his senior year, Aumavae-Laulu was awarded the Pac-12 offensive lineman of the week.

NFL: In the sixth round of the 2023 NFL draft, the Baltimore Ravens selected him. Last season, he played in two games.

T.J. Bass

2020–2022.

Accolades and accomplishments: In 2022, Bass, who transferred in 2021, was selected to the first team of the Pac-12 for his tackle position. He was selected to the first team in 2021 while playing both guard and tackle. In 2020, Bass received honorable mention.

NFL: After going undrafted in 2023, he signed with Dallas. has had 32 NFL appearances, five of which were starts.

Josh Conerly Jr.

Years: 2022–2024.

Accolades/accomplishments: In 2023, Conerly started 14 games for the 12-2 Ducks and was selected honorable mention All-Pac-12. With just five sacks given up, the UO offensive line helped the Ducks take the top in the country. Conerly had 511 pass-blocking opportunities and only gave up one sack.

Conerly, a redshirt junior, was selected to the AP third team All-America and the first team All-B1G the following season.

NFL: Conerly was chosen by Washington as the 29th overall pick in the 2025 NFL selection.

Ajani Cornelius

Years: 2023–2024.

Accolades/accomplishments: Cornelius earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 recognition in 2023 while playing for the Ducks, starting all 14 games.

Cornelius was on the watch lists for the Lombardi Award and the Outland Trophy going into his senior year. The coaches awarded him third-team All-B1G at the end of the season, and the media named him second team.

Cornelius was chosen to the American Football Coaches Association’s second team All-America.

NFL: In the sixth round of the 2025 NFL draft, he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys.

Tyrell Crosby

Period: 2014–2017.

Accolades/accomplishments: In 2014, Crosby was thrown into the action as a true freshman and quickly established himself as a dependable starter on a line that helped quarterback Marcus Mariota win the Heisman Trophy and guide the Ducks to the national championship game.

Crosby played just two games as a junior in 2016 due to a foot issue. He bounced back in 2017 to win the Ed Moshofsky Award, the Morris Trophy, and a spot on the first team of the Pac-12.

NFL: In the fifth round of the 2018 NFL draft, Crosby was chosen by the Detroit Lions. During his three seasons with the Lions, he made 38 appearances and 18 starts.

Jake Fisher

from 2011 to 2014.

Accolades/accomplishments: Fisher helped the Ducks finish 36-5 in three seasons with 36 career starts.

Fisher made the first team in 2014 after being awarded honorable mention all-conference in 2012.

NFL: Fisher was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 2015 NFL draft. Before his career was cut short by injuries, he spent four seasons with the Bengals.

Tyler Johnstone

2012–2015.

Accolades and accomplishments: Although Johnstone missed the 2014 season due to injury, he was voted honorable mention all-conference in 2013. He made a comeback in 2015 and was selected to the first team all-conference.

NFL: Johnstone spent three seasons in the CFL but did not play in the NFL after signing with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2016.

Geoff Schwartz

Years: 2004–2007.

Accolades and accomplishments: In 2006, Schwartz was selected to the second team of the Pac-10. In 2005, he made 12 starts for the 10-2 Ducks.

NFL: In the seventh round of the 2008 NFL draft, Schwartz was chosen by Carolina. He appeared in 74 games with 39 starts throughout his time with the Panthers, Minnesota, Kansas City, and the New York Giants.

Penei Sewell

Years: 2018–2019.

Accolades and accomplishments: Sewell was named to USA Today’s Freshmen All-American team and earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 as a freshman. Sewell won numerous honors during his second season, including the Outland Trophy, a unanimous first-team All-American selection, first-team all-conference, and co-offensive player of the year for the Pac-12.

NFL: In the 2021 NFL draft, Detroit selected Sewell with the seventh overall pick. He has been named All-Pro twice and has been a Pro Bowler three times.

Calvin Throckmorton

Years: 2015–2018.

Accolades and accomplishments: In 2015, a redshirt freshman, I became a starter and never looked back. He started 52 straight games for UO, 41 of them at right tackle.

During a 45-game run that comprised 1,602 throw plays, he gave up only one sack.

In 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019, he was named honorable mention all-conference by conference coaches. He was chosen as a first team all-conference and third team all-American by AP in 2019.

NFL: Undrafted in 2019, Thornton has played for New Orleans, Carolina, Tennessee, and Denver, appearing in 48 games with 27 starts.

Fenuki Tupou

2007–2008

Accolades and accomplishments: In 2007 and 2008, the junior college transfer was selected to the second team of the Pac-10.

NFL: He was selected in the fifth round of the 2009 Philadelphia draft, but his career was cut short by injury, and he never played a game.
