baseball locker room Tuesday night, his
“Gritty Gray” Beavers uniform
was caked in dirt, his eyes were suppressing tears and he carried a soothing message for his ailing teammates.
“Think about what you did this year,” he said. “Who cares about the last inning? I’m not going to remember that.”
