Oregon’s Dante Moore and Bryce Boettcher will serve as co-hosts of the second annual Kidsports celebrity softball game.
The Ducks quarterback and middle linebacker headline this year’s game, scheduled for July 12 at Jane Sanders Stadium, in what is set to be a showcase of Oregon’s offense versus defense.

, with a home run derby set for 5:30 p.m. and the game to follow at 6:30 p.m.
In addition to Boettcher, the defense team is set to include Teitum Tuioti, Matayo Uiagalelei, Dillon Thieneman, former UO offensive linemen Josh Conerly Jr. and Michael Delagrange and former safety Brady Breeze, men’s basketball center Nate Bittle, former Oregon basketball greats Luke Jackson and Luke Ridnour, former Oregon women’s basketball players Phillipina Kyei and Oti Gildon and softballers Remmington Hewitt, Ayanna Shaw and Elise Sokolsky.
Joining Moore on the offensive team are Kenyon Sadiq, Dakorien Moore, Malik Benson, Da’Juan Riggs, Roger Saleapaga, Gary Bryant Jr., Noah Whittington and Cooper Perry, former Oregon running backs LaMichael James and De’Anthony Thomas, softball’s Stefini Ma’ake, Braiesey Rosa, Dez Patmon and Maddie Milhorn.
It’s the second straight year Dante Moore, UO’s presumptive starting quarterback this season, will take part in the event, which was hosted by former Oregon and current Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert last year.
Herbert won last year’s home run derby
and led his team to a win in the exhibition game, which also featured several other Chargers players, Dillon Gabriel, Terrance Ferguson, Patrick Herbert, Ariel Carlson and Paige Sinicki.
