Kentucky is reportedly close to landing a strong frontcourt piece for the 2021-22 season.
Oscar Tshiebwe, a former five-star prospect, decided to enter the transfer portal and leave West Virginia earlier this week. Kentucky, who recruited Tshiebwe in high school, immediately entered the mix for the transfer big man.
According to Jeff Goodman, Tshiebwe is leaning towards announcing his commitment to Kentucky.
The 6-foot-9, 260-pound center met with Miami, North Carolina State, Illinois, and Kentucky via Zoom earlier this week.
