While the recruitment of Marvin Bagley doesn’t appear to be swaying in the Cats favor, Kentucky fans received good news about a possible package deal with two 5-star prospects in the 2018 class.
The Wildcats are the heavy favorite to land the nations No. 2 PG, Immanuel Quickley. Quickley got his first taste of John Calipari as a head coach, as a member of the U-19 USA Team in Cairo, Egypt. The 6-3 guard is expected to make a decision during the month of August and many of the top prospects in the country will want to play with him, including the No. 2 player, Zion Williamson.
Williamson mentioned the package deal during an interview with SEC Country following a game at the Adidas Gauntlet this morning. Williamson is rated the No. 2 player and Quickley No. 10 in the 2018 class.
