Next Philadelphia Weather Alert Friday morning because of the chance of strong storms

Storms could be strong to very bad all over the Delaware Valley on Friday morning, but they will be worst south of I-78.

Between 8 and 11 a.m. on Friday, a weakening group of strong to severe storms will move from west to east. There will be a NEXT Weather Alert for the area because of the possible rain.

Damage from the storms’ strong winds and heavy rain are the main risks, but small hail is also possible. There’s also a 2% chance of a short tornado in Delaware.

The weather in Philadelphia for the rest of the week

Thursday, the storm off the Gulf Coast moves away, but right away, another one comes in from the west. Before that storm hits, the area also gets warmer, and by the end of the week, highs will be back in the 80s.

Saturday will be warm, with highs in the mid-80s and some sun before the front moves through. Because of this, we’ll need to keep an eye out for strong or severe storms in the late afternoon or evening.

The weather looks better for Sunday and next week, with warm days. Do something outside this Sunday afternoon and enjoy the sun, warm weather, and dry air!

How the next seven days will go:

Friday: Next Storms are coming in the morning. 82 degrees high and 63 degrees low.

Saturday morning: the storm will pass. 87 degrees high and 66 degrees low.

Sunday: nice and sunny. 75 degrees high and 63 degrees low.

Monday is a sunny day. 74 degrees high and 58 degrees low.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny. It got as high as 72 and as low as 51.

Wednesday: A chance of rain. 67 degrees high and 54 degrees low.

Thursday: It’s going to rain. 61 degrees high and 54 degrees low.
