Kentucky freshman forward PJ Washington is one tough kid and according to this latest report, he played the final two months of the season with an injury.

T.J. Walker of Rivals released a tweet Tuesday night that Washington broke his pinky finger in January and that off-season surgery may be required. Walker cited Washington’s father, Paul Washington Sr. in the report.

Walker included that Washington Sr. mentioned that a decision to return or enter the NBA draft has not been made. Most expect Washington to return for his sophomore season, which would provide a great balance of talent and leadership for Kentucky next season.
