Podcast: Discussing what CJ Fredrick Brings to Kentucky Basketball

CJ Fredrick
Iowa Athletics

Kentucky basketball added a sharpshooter Wednesday when former Iowa guard CJ Fredrick announced he is transferring to Kentucky for the 2021-22 season.

The addition of Fredrick, along with Dontaie Allen and Davidson transfer Kellan Grady, gives Kentucky one of the best shooting backcourts in college basketball.

Fredrick redshirted during the 2018-19 season before shooting 46.6 percent from three-point range the last two seasons. In 52 career games, he’s only committed 42 turnovers while dishing out 121 assists. He only committed a total of 10 turnovers last season.

The Kentucky Daily crew recorded a breakdown episode to discuss what Fredrick’s addition to the roster means for Kentucky.
