A Portland man has been taken into custody by police in connection with the alleged murder of another man who was discovered dead on Hayden Island on Thursday.
According to court documents, Timothy L. Hudson, 68, is accused of second-degree murder and second-degree assault.
According to a statement from the Portland Police Bureau, they received a call regarding a guy who was discovered deceased on the island’s west end at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
The victim’s identity has not been made public by the police, nor have they disclosed the time or manner of his death.
According to court documents, Hudson was previously found guilty in Clackamas County of two counts of menacing and damaging more than $1,000 worth of marijuana plants that belonged to someone else in 2015.
His court date is set for this Friday.
