Police Suspect Arrested Days After Hit-and-run Crash That Sent Woman to Shock Trauma

BALTIMORE, MD – A Baltimore woman has been charged with two counts of assault in connection with a hit-and-run crash in Baltimore County on March 19 that sent a woman to Shock Trauma, Maryland State Police announced Monday.

Crishawna Donteece-Chane Hall, 29, of Baltimore, is charged with first- and second-degree assault, as well as other traffic violations linked to the crash. She is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Centre.

The victim was not identified on Monday. She was brought to the R Adams Shock Trauma Centre for treatment of injuries sustained in the Beltway’s Inner Loop near Arbutus.

Around midnight on March 19, troopers from the Golden Ring Barracks responded to a crash on I-695’s inner loop, just before I-95 near exit 11, in Baltimore County. Investigators believe the driver of a 2006 silver Acura TL, later identified as Hall, sideswiped a 2007 Nissan Quest parked on the right shoulder. The victim was struck while standing outside the vehicle.

The Baltimore County Police Department spotted Hall’s Acura near the crash scene on Wilkens Avenue. Hall was not inside the vehicle.

Maryland State Police K-9 units and a helicopter, as well as Baltimore County Police Department officers, responded to the location to hunt for Hall.

An arrest warrant was issued for Hall, who was captured on March 25 in the Baltimore region.
