Due to a production problem that resulted in energy drink cans inadvertently being included in variety packs, two production lots of High Noon hard seltzer are being recalled. The cans may include vodka seltzer even though they are marketed as energy drinks.
The error could result in accidental alcohol intake.
After High Noon learned that a shared packaging supplier had inadvertently sent empty Celsius energy drink cans to High Noon, the Food and Drug Administration made the recall announcement on Wednesday. According to the FDA, no adverse reactions or illnesses have been linked to the error.
Since the energy drink cans are only included in the alcoholic variety packs and cannot be purchased separately, minors would not be able to purchase them by accident.
High Noon Beach Variety packs (12-pack/12 fluid ounce cans) bearing the lot codes printed on the packaging are subject to the recall:
-
L CCC 17JL25
14:00
to L CCC 17JL25
23:59.
-
L CCC 18JL25

.
Distributors throughout multiple states received the variety packs. Between July 21 and July 23, 2025, the packs were subsequently shipped to merchants in Florida, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
The lid of the Celsius cans that are not fully filled will be silver rather than black. The can’s bottom has the following lot codes laser-etched into it:
-
L CCB 02JL25
2:55
to L CCB 02JL25
3:11
.
The Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition label is displayed on the Celsius cans. According to the FDA, energy drink cans with a black lid and no lot codes mentioned are safe to consume.
The liquid inside the Celsius cans should be disposed of and not consumed by customers who have purchased the variety packs. Consumers who bought the variety packs can get information on what to do next, including how to seek a refund, by contacting High Noon Consumer Relations at consumerrelations@highnoonvodka.com.
