Portland’s 2025 summer outdoor movie lineup is here

Portland offers an abundance of summertime activities. Outdoor films are no different.

As part of their Summer Free for All Program, Portland Parks & Recreation is bringing back their family-friendly film selection this year.

Old favorites and newly released children’s movies are on the 2025 calendar at parks throughout the city. Every event is free and appropriate for all ages. Many of them have subtitles in Spanish.

So bring your blankets and picnic baskets. This summer is going to be unforgettable.

The lineup is as follows:



  • July 10:

    Guardians of the Galaxy at Elizabeth Caruthers Park, 3508 S. Moody Ave., 7:30 p.m.


  • July 11:

    The Sandlot at Overlook Park, 1599 N. Fremont St., 6:30 p.m.


  • July 17:

    Galaxy Quest at Colonel Summers Park, S.E. 17th Ave. and Taylor St., 7:30 p.m.


  • July 18:

    Despicable Me 4 at Brentwood Park, 6550 S.E. 60th Ave., 7:30 p.m.


  • July 19:

    Won t You Be My Neighbor (English with Spanish subtitles) at Farragut Park, North Kerby Avenue and Farragut Street, 7:30 p.m.


  • July 25:

  • August 1:

    Mufasa: The Lion King (English with Spanish subtitles) at McCoy Park, 4677 N. Trenton St., 7:30 p.m.


  • August 2:

    Raiders of the Lost Ark at Luuwit View Park, Northeast 127th Avenue and Fremont Street, 7:30 p.m.


  • August 29:

    A Goofy Movie at Holly Farm Park, 10819 S.W. Capitol Hwy., 7:30 p.m.


  • August 30:

    Beetlejuice at Woodstock Park, 5012 S.E. Harold St., 7:30 p.m.
