You’re excused if the last day or so in Portland has had you reaching for a knitting project and searching for Halloween decorations in the garage.
After a cloudy and not-hot Sunday, Portland rolled into a cool Monday morning, with more clouds in the sky and puddles on the ground.
Things will get better for the summer lovers though. While the day is expected to start mostly cloudy,
according to the National Weather Service in Portland
, those clouds should gradually disappear into a sunny Monday afternoon with a high of 79, an almost perfect temperature.
After a clear night with a low of 58 degrees, Tuesday summer will be back in a more official capacity, when it is sunny with a high of 88 degrees.
The rest of the week should be more of the same, with highs in low 90s and 80s and plenty of sun for those plants that got some rain on Monday morning.
