With 11 incoming transfers, 23 players heading to the NFL draft and 11 outgoing scholarship transfers, Oregon is
projected to have 82 scholarship players in 2025
.
Nose tackle Jamaree Caldwell and safety Kobe Savage remained in the draft rather than using that additional year as former junior college players, while offensive tackle George Silva IV returned and entered the transfer portal.
Linebacker Bryce Boettcher was granted a waiver from the NCAA for a fourth season of football eligibility, receiver Evan Stewart returned and offensive lineman Matthew Bedford and kicker Andrew Boyle were granted medical hardship waivers.
The Oregonian/OregonLive will chronicle these moves in real time. For those those haven’t seen every player entering and exiting the transfer portal, commitment, signing, assistant coach or support staff member departure and hiring, this will serve as a reference page for the entire 2025 offseason.
