Report: Former Bend softball star enters the transfer portal

One of the top young college softball players in the country could be on the move.

reported that UCLA freshman Addisen Fisher (a former standout at Bend Senior High School) entered the transfer portal.

An all-region honoree as a freshman in 2025, Fisher posted a 2.59 ERA with 16 wins, a .241 opponent’s batting average, and 100 strikeouts in 113.2 innings of work.

Fisher pitched in 32 games in the 2024-25 school year, starting 16 times. She had a 2.59 earned run average and accumulated a 16-2 record with one save. She allowed 105 hits, 50 runs, walked 41 batters and struck out 100.

She recorded a no-hitter on March 26 against Brown, throwing for five innings while allowing just one walk and striking out six.

In early May, Fisher was

named a finalist for the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Freshman of the Year award

. She was also named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team, the NFCA All-West Region First Team and was a D1Softball First Team Freshman All-American.

Fisher was a dynamic player in four seasons at Bend. She helped lead the Lava Bears to a 97-12 records over the course of four years, including winning the

Class 5A state championship in 2024

.

Fisher was a three-time Gatorade Softball Player of the Year for Oregon. She was named the Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year in 2024 and was considered to be the top recruit in the nation in the class of 2024.
