Report: John Calipari is Targeting Jai Lucas to Join Coaching Staff

John Calipari is pursuing another name to add to the coaching staff, in addition to Bruiser Flint.

Jai Lucas, a former player at Texas and current assistant coach for the Longhorns, could be on his way to Lexington to join Calipari’s staff.

Not sure how the positions would fill out on the UK coaching staff, but Lucas is 31-years old and would be active on the recruiting trail for Kentucky.

Even after Kenny Payne's departure for Knicks, I'm hearing there will be one more move on Kentucky basketball staff beyond arrival of Bruiser Flint — and it will create a buzz.
