Report: Sahvir Wheeler will visit Georgia this weekend

Sahvir Wheeler
Georgia Athletics

Sahvir Wheeler entered the transfer portal last month after two seasons at Kentucky.

The former Kentucky point guard will take advantage of the COVID year and play one final season of collegiate basketball.

A former Bob Cousy Award finalist, Wheeler spent the first two seasons of his career at Georgia, where he averaged 7.7 points and 5.6 assists per game for the Bulldogs.

According to Joe Tipton of On3, Wheeler will visit Georgia this weekend. Could the point guard finish his career where he started?

Tom Crean was the coach of the Bulldogs during Wheeler’s time in Athens. Mike White, the former head coach at Florida, is the head man in charge at Georgia now.
