Rivals Analyst Says Isaiah Jackson is the Most Underrated Post in 2020

Isaiah Jackson

Kentucky fans are aware of the top ten signees BJ Boston and Terrence Clarke, but which player in the 2020 class could surprise this season?

Isaiah Jackson is my pick to surprise Kentucky fans. Even if Kentucky adds a big man or two to complete the 2020-21 roster, Jackson will have an opportunity to earn significant minutes for Kentucky this season.

The 6-foot-9 forward is one of the most athletic big men in the 2020 class, and his ability to be a rim protector is a crucial attribute John Calipari will love to have on the floor.

Rivals analyst Dan McDonald believes Jackson is the most underrated post player in the 2020 class.

“Isaiah Jackson is the most underrated post player in the class,” McDonald said. “I honestly wouldn’t be too surprised if he ends up being the best post player in the class when all is said and done. I love how active he is to go along with his athleticism and skill level.”

Turn on Jackon’s tape, and you can see the tools are there for him to have a successful career at Kentucky and the next level. For those worried about Kentucky’s frontcourt options next season, Jackson will be a significant piece, regardless of who the Wildcats add the next few weeks.
