Shaedon Sharpe heard his name called in the 2022 NBA Draft Thursday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The Portland Trail Blazers selected Sharpe with the No. 7 pick in the draft.
After enrolling for the second semester of the 2021-22 season, Sharpe didn’t play during his time at Kentucky.
The 6-foot-6 guard was the consensus No. 1 player in the 2022 class before reclassifying to 2021.
At 19 years, 24 days old, Shaedon Sharpe is the 2nd-youngest top-10 pick from Canada in NBA history.
