Kentucky’s 2021-22 roster will get even stronger this week when Shaedon Sharpe walks in the gym.
Sharpe, the consensus No. 1 player in the country for the 2022, is enrolling at Kentucky early and joining the team for the remainder of the season.
According to Kyle Tucker of The Athletic, Sharpe will begin practicing with the team very soon.
“We haven’t talked about (him playing), the family hasn’t talked about it,” Calipari said. “My guess would be, he’s fine. Let’s get him in shape and go from there.
“There was never a plan to play him. I left that out there so everybody would panic, but there has never been a plan to play him. But, let’s get him here and work him out, see how things are, and see how our team is.”
What do you think? Does he play?
Shaedon Sharpe is en route. He’ll be practicing with Kentucky very soon.
