Somerset Quarterback Kaiya Sheron Commits to Kentucky

Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats picked up a commitment for the 2021 class Monday night.

Kaiya Sheron, a three-star quarterback for 2021, announced his commitment to Kentucky via social media Monday night. He chose the Wildcats over Eastern Kentucky and Marshall.

“First off I want to thank God, without his blessing I would not be in this position,” Sheron wrote on Twitter. “I would also like to thank my parents and family for the sacrifices they have made for me. I  want to thank my teammates for always having my back and helping me be the best I could be. Thank you to Briar Jumper Nation for your support! To all of my coaches over the years thank you so much for everything. With that being said, I am grateful to announce that I will be committing to the University of Kentucky. Go Big Blue!!”

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound quarterback from Somerset, Ky., is rated the No. 28 pro-style quarterback in the class of 2021 by 247 Sports. He is the No. 8 prospect in the state of Kentucky.
