Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats are in Atlanta Wednesday for their session at SEC Football Media Days.
Prior to speaking at the podium in the main room, the UK coach fielded questions from local media about a number of topics leading up to the season, including the situation with star running back Chris Rodriguez.
Rodriguez was arrested for a DUI in May and pleaded guilty in July.
“Chris is there in Lexington, working hard, training with the team, getting ready,” Stoops said. “I really don’t have any other comment at this point.”
Rodriguez needs 1,134 rushing yards to break the school record for most rushing yards in a career.
Mark Stoops is “still monitoring” the Chris Rodriguez situation. Aka nothing decisive for UK RB for now.
