Suspect Called 911 After Allegedly Killing Mother, Changed His Mind Mid-Callv

After calling 911 to say he had shot his mother, an Arizona man changed his mind and said she was just in her pottery workshop.

Aaron Morse, 51, was charged with second-degree murder on April 16 for allegedly killing his mother, Susan Morse, 74. KTVK, a local CBS affiliate, got court documents that show police reacted to a 911 call that afternoon from Aaron Morse. The cops were waiting outside when Aaron Morse called 911 and asked if he could end “the whole thing,” according to KTVK.

A local Fox station, KSAZ, also got a copy of the court papers, which called the call from Aaron Morse a “unknown trouble call.” It is said that the suspect also told the dispatchers that he and his mother had just fought and that there was nothing wrong because she was just in her pottery studio.

As soon as the cops got to the house, they saw that Susan Morse had been shot in the head.

She was taken to a nearby hospital, but they later said she was dead.

Aaron Morse is said to have shot his mother and then put the gun in some Tupperware after emptying it. Dispatchers didn’t get any information from him about the fight he said he had with his mother.

When Aaron Morse went to court for the first time, the prosecutors said that he has a past with alcohol. According to the documents, when police arrived at the scene, they could smell alcohol on the subject. The police also asked him what happened before the claimed shooting, and he said, “Arguing.”

Police said Aaron Morse had blood on his shoes and hands as well. The papers also said that Aaron Morse asked about the steps he was about to take. The cops told Aaron Morse that a judge would make a decision. He is said to have said, “Probably not.” “I have a horrible crime.”

Aaron Morse was taken to the Maricopa County Jail on one charge of second-degree murder and one charge of messing with evidence.
