Tampa Man Caught on Camera Peering Through Windows Arrested for Voyeurism

According to the City of Tampa’s official website, Tampa Police recently arrested 37-year-old Kasey Pellage on counts of voyeurism and loitering. Pellage, a white male born on February 18, 1988, was observed behaving suspiciously near S. Lois Ave. and W. San Miguel St. late last March.

Pellage’s rapid capture was attributed to officers’ tireless efforts, community awareness, and media engagement, according to Chief Lee Bercaw. “The swift identification and apprehension of this suspect is a direct result of the diligent work of our officers, the vigilance of our community, and the crucial role of media in disseminating information,” according to him.

Pellage was shown on film approaching a house and peering through its windows on March 29th, Saturday, and 30th, as well as last Sunday.

The investigation began when a worried tenant reported seeing a stranger she didn’t know looking into her living area. Following the event, authorities used social media and local press to search for information that might lead them to the perpetrator. An anonymous tip received on Friday led authorities to Pellage, the person seen on video surveillance.

Pellage was discovered loitering at a construction site in the 4100 block of Henderson Blvd. on Sunday, just after 8:30 p.m., while an unrelated police investigation was underway. When cops approached him, he initially rejected attempts to verify his identity.

He was brought to Orient Road Jail after being charged with nonviolent resistance to an officer. Pellage, who was recognized as the same person involved in the previous voyeuristic episodes, was charged with new counts yesterday after further investigation by detectives.
