Tesla Cybertruck Accident on Highway 101 Causes Lane Closures, Delays Traffic

The California Highway Patrol reported that a Tesla Cybertruck was involved in a crash on Highway 101 in Marin County on Wednesday afternoon.

Around 3:47 p.m., a crash occurred in the northbound lanes between the Lucky Drive and Nellen Avenue intersection.

The Cybertruck collided with another pickup truck, according to the CHP’s accident report. At least one person was injured, but the CHP said their status was unknown.

Three northbound lanes of the highway were briefly halted as far north as Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, according to the CHP.

As of 5 p.m., all lanes were open. The lane closures lasted approximately an hour before traffic dispersed.
